Got up in the dark this morning in order to take a shot at one of my low tide spots. Tossed the rip in some shallow clear water. It wasn't long before it was fish on. But this didn't feel like a halibut. It was my first ever from the sand Calico. Followed it up with 2 more. They weren't slugs so I didn't shoot a pict. Later I found the right kind, uh well I mean the target species and beached this barely legal flatty. Even made it work before 10.
