Let's just say I didn't do so well. 1 short calico and one short sculpin. This was the first time in 2 years that I didn't get a legal bass on a party boat. I even tried bait a few times (this was where my two fish came from). I only had three decent bites on the rubber all night. I guess it just wasn't my night. It was a slow night in general, but those that did get bit did o.k. The trip was a charter that my boss did. Most everyone worked for Shimano (this was a thank you trip), so it wasn't for lack of talent that we did so poorly. The only one to really do well was my boss' 11 year old daughter. I think she had 15+ legal bass. We finally figured it was because she swung on everything. She would squeeze in between a couple people, catch a few fish and move to a new spot. It was hilarious, she showed up a lot of good anglers.
