The perch fishing at the outlet has been phenomenal! Three days of one fish after another and nothing under a pound! Most fish at twolbs. I was fishing for shark in the morning with some whole chovies on a 20lb steel leader and a 2/0 circle hook and three plus pound barred perch were inhaling the bait. Its been a bit windy but well worth it. If you are going out there be sure to bring your license and keep only the limit, the DFG has been around alot. With good weather on the way you can count on me fishing daily. Take advantage of our fantastic fishing but remember keep a sensible limit, keep only what you need and leave the rest for another day!

Hey Justin,
From reading your previous messeges, I figure that your speaking about the outlet in Morro Bay. I was visiting Morro this past weekend and had a bunk day out of Avila. However, my friends have been fishing the outlet, in which we call the discharge, a lot lately. In fact my buddy Rob pulled a Striper out on Sunday. Awesome hah. Supposedly they have been killing the Opel Eye. The same buddy, Rob, caught a 4.5 lbs. Opel their about a week ago. For bait, they are using frozen pea's. You will probably see them out there, for they fish it almost every day. Just don't tell them I told you their secrets for the they will probably cancell my Central Coast fishing reports. I lived in Osos for a few years and have fished pretty much the whole SLO county shoreline. If you are interested in any spots just let me know, chances are that I fished them. Have fun fishing the Central Coast, lord knows that I did.
Peace
