Anybody see the counts on allcoast? Biteson is apparently offline for a couple days, but allcoast's report says the Cat Special had limits of seabass today and a few yellows. The freakin end of September counts are better than summer! Them seabass sure are wierd critters. Wonder how long the bite will hold up. They must've been at Anacapa which makes me wonder if that school of fish is moving up the islands, north. Too bad there's no sportboat to fish Rosa and Miguel!!! Oh well, watch the Cat's counts and see what's up. Maybe the Condor will make a couple runs out there.

Hueneme has live squid and biteson says the Seabass are biting.

I would be out there fishing this weekend but for once I really have plans that I cannot break otherwise I would be out looking for a) albacore b) yellowtail c) Seabass or d) All of the above. Oh well, gonna get out there the following weekend.

Speaking of seabass I see you're not tuna fishing right now! You gonna join me for some harbor sheeeebass (or halibut) tonight? I'll be there around five, fish halibut until around 6:30 or 7:00 then try for the sheeeebass!

I'm gonna try to go to Ventura and have dinner with some allcoasters, otherwise I'd be there. Catch a sealion, I mean seabass for me.

Yeah, yesterday (9/26) the Cat Special got 99 seabass and 16 yellowtail for 33 anglers. Not bad, eh? Sounds pretty wide open to me!
