I've been reading this page for the past month or so and I have found most of the info very helpful. Thanks for all the tips.
My question: Is there a way to keep sand crabs alive for a day or two?
Some afternoons I can find tons of sand crabs only to return the next morning at dawn and can find none. When those things die, it can stink up the ride pretty bad.

Packing them in sand wet with seawater and keeping them cool works fine for overnight.
