Went out in my tube this afternoon for 3 hours and only got one fish...a shorty WSB about 18 or 20 inches. I think he knew he was going back in the water the way he sat perfectly still while I got the stubborn hook out. I was way out by a medium sized kelp forest, about 400 yards off the point/stairs area when I got him. He inhaled a 4 inch olive fish trap on a 1/2 ounce head.

I also fished in shallower water, but didn't even get nibbled. I tried a few plastics and a fastrac minnow. I finally decided to come in when my tube had sufficiently deflated..........
