Went out for the first time since the rains started. Got out to Zuma around 7am and it was packed!! I've never seen so many surf fishermen in 1 spot. ;) I went to the south end of the beach to get away from the crowd. It was super slow. Threw the grub around until 9ish for 1 walleye and 1 smelt. Had another decent fighter on (smelt or maybe a corb?) but farmed it right at the sand. I ran into Adam and we went to north Zuma hoping for a better bite. Nothing there too so I left early. I stopped by the beach south of Malibu pier to throw a swimbait around for nothing as well. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. Oh well... ;)
