1768, Late Report...Perris last weekend..the UnPerfect S
Posted by Matt Peters, Thu Nov-14-02 02:24 PM
I had a chance to fish with Brian Long last weekend. He spent the night and we got up early and headed to Perris.

Boy, we were ready to rock. The weather was ugly out, and we had that "first storm of the season" planted in our head.

I caught a 3lb Eagle fish right off the bat in the launch ramp cove. A fluke as it turned out!

We fished all over...rock climbers, the island, the East End (hunters until noon have priority there...fyi), and the Marina/launch ramp points....

We had some small follows...not big and none too hot. We fished our tails off and didn't have another bite all day.

I threw the Eagle, Generic Trout, and Brian threw the Soft Generic Trout, the Castaic, MS Slammer, and maybe others. Overall, we were disappointed...weather and crowds in our favor...

Fun to fish Perris anyway.

Brian took a picture of the fish. I don't even have that. Christ, I've got software to sell!
