Fished Amador on 3/3. Paid 28.00 to launch-CRIPES!!!!!
Fished reaction baits for a couple hours until I finally decided to acknowledge all those fish icons on the LMS240 at 30 ft. I told my partner "you should drop that jig and pig here". He did and 30 sec. later he was fighting a 7lb.4oz to the boat. I started casting a 7" Osprey Talon (nicely rigged by Chris at BWW) down the center of some narrow arms sort of slow rolling it and was rewarded with a 5lb.7oz. For my troubles. WE caught another 4lb.+ on the jig and some 2s and 3s jigging spoons. Maybe not trophys but quality fish.
Caught some nice fish at folsom on rattletraps in the mudlines on Sun.3/2.The pre-spawn is on!
Any of you trophy hunters fish folsom regulary? It is my home lake and I am always looking for a new way to catch fatties. I mostly fish mon.-have a sweet new 17' Lowe/80 horse. yami 4 str. rigged for bass.
I fish alone alot but would share a seat in the boat in exchange for some good tips on swimbait or other big bass tactics at folsom. You can respond here.
PS I ordered swimbaits at Bass world West on Fri. eve. and recieved them Wed. very well done and Chris gave me alot of info on the phone-good folks and service.
