8972, Blue bird weather for big fish??????

I know this topic has been dicussed a million times but I had to bring it up. I have been trying to increase my chances of catching a monster this season by fishing on days with inclement weather. I did the same thing last year but this year I am really trying to make it out during every storm, even if I have to play hooky from work. I think I've fished big baits at least 4-5 times this year during rain, showers or cloudy conditions. I think I caught three fish during those trips and got completely skunked on two of those trips. Then I go out on Jan 13th freezing temps (18 at blast off)and really blue bird skies. I didn't expect to catch anything, I even put a spinning rod and another baitcaster in the boat. It was so cold my lever wind ended up being an shaved ice maker for about the first three hours. I ended up catching five fish for about 28 lbs and missed 6-8 other hits. It got me thinking about what the weather was like during my best swimbait days. My absolute best day was in cloudy conditions and I think it might of sprinkled a few times. I caught 17 fish that day, all on swimbaits. The rest of my good days have been on extreme blue bird days. Included in those blue bird days was my personal best fish of 14.50 lbs. Just wondering if anybody else has had similar results during blue bird weather.
