Mike I had shoulder surgery and they shaved a little bit of bone away right in the joint. I have 3 tiny scars the size of a pencil erasure and My shoulder is great. I Have full movement and I can even throw a football. I was out of work for 5 weeks but I was fishing after 2 weeks. the docter actualy recomended it. Your pain sounds very similar to what I had. If your doc recomends the surgury dont be scarred.
