a few baits I've been workin' on for people...all three baits are foiled to give some natural flash and give the colors more depth

Do you have Platinum Rock Hards that swim? Or are you re-assembling them with different hardware or something? I can't picture spending that much time to paint those baits if they weren't swimming right.

I swapped all the joint hardware on two of the 10" baits. The 8"er's so far haven't budged with stock hardware...ofcourse time will tell.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one wondering why you would waste your talent on the Castaic Rock Hards. Any info on how you replaced the hinges as the last ones on mine opened up after a day of use.

I hear ya I had two joints open up the first outing as well. I got sick of staring at the bait so I called the new owner and he made more than good on my bait.

to fix the bait get out your kung-fu grip, twist the screw eyes open and pull them with some needlenose, drill out the holes, get two sets of .072" screw eyes linked up,mix enough 5 minute epoxy to fill four holes, fill them, and insert the screw eyes. Make sure you have your joint aligned and hold it until the epoxy sets...then repeat

now you got "slow and lovely"...haha
