11262, Rob - still recommending 'Aristocrat'?

Mr. B. --

Chris Youlden did some refinishing work for me on a couple of my old Slammers -- real impressive work (see below)! Unfortunately, he's leaving for Texas & didn't have a chance to finish the task. I need to put a clear-coat on these (or maybe have someone else who's better at it than me do it).

What might you suggest/recommend?

(Hmmm...can't seem to get the photo to load, even @ 184k)

(Looks like your server is taking in the photo, but the link is getting fouled up somehow -- any chance you can dig it up? These trout finishes really look cool!)

Cool -- I sent it to your 'Okuma' address. I trust that's still a good one?

You have the correct email. Here is the pic. Chris has always done nice work.

11268, Thanks, John - yeah, I'm real happy with 'em

Now I just need to figure out if I want to throw 'em or hang 'em on a wall! ;- )

(Actually, I'm still hoping someone here can steer me in the right direction on how to put a final, durable finish on 'em -- or do it for me!)

Thanks John for handling that. I'm in jury duty right now, yipeeee :P

Jeff - it seems like your images have some strange file names. Like the file is named with D:\ ......

If you name the file without the : or the \ it should work better. The forum software doesn't like any special characters in the file names.

Nice lures BTW
11270, Rob - it was picking up the path on my D:drive (nm)

I couldn't find Aristoctrate localy so I bought EnviroTex Lite at the local craft store. Easy to use, comes out clear and is really hard. Havn't given it a toss it on the rocks testyet. But soon.
