I fish Lake Mission Viejo and I am getting into deadsticking big baits. I was wondering what you would reccomend for this application bait wise. What is your favorite topwater/deadstick bait? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a green aluminum boat with Shimano, GLoomis and Big Hammer stickers on it. I haven't been out there for a while. I might be out there this Saturday.

Dead Stick baits...I have tried several with limited success. I seem to do better at night dead sticking. I have had some giants come up during the day but never hooked one.

I recognize the boat... I am going to be out on Sun. because the trout opening crowds suck :-(

let me know if you guys want to throw the bigbait. I have a pass but cant get my boat in on the lakex(

I am avoiding the lake this weekend and I am going Turkey hunting. I will be out there on Tuesday morning to do some "field testing".
