You make too much sense. All great points. So are they going to stop stocking trout altogther then? I have gone three or four times on the days when they have stocked trout, not totally a coincidence, but because my day off to go fishing happened to be on that day. I have made several observations. The same folks go, with one guy in particular catching tons of trout-way more than the limit. The trout don't fight at all. Two times, when the trout were biting like crazy I left early because it didn't feel sporting. I don't like paying $11.00 every time I fish either.

I wish the bite was better at Del Valle and Shadow Cliffs. I have given up on Shadow Cliffs altogher. Which is too bad as it is so close and easy to get to.
