hey everyone, the other day we got in an order of osprey's at the shop i work at and my boss had ordered a few that were clear bellies with clear/blue backs. has anyone had any luck with these? i think i might try one out at casitas if i go sunday. another local store said that they have been selling a lot in this color and we have had a few requests for them, so im thinking they will be good, but im still not sure. well let me know what you guys think.

I don't know if blue would be the first color i would choose to add to a lure, but you never know.I have had fair success with the black back and silver side(shad?)pattern but the blue clear combo could be interesting....

What's up Scotty?

I am not sure about the Osprey in this pattern, but I fish the Optimum baits in this color scheme all the time. I fish the sinking baits alot and they get bit regardless of the water clarity and depth. I've caught fish at every lake around with this color.

The original maker of the bait gave me some in this pattern years ago. He said it was a favorite from the guys in the know. I took that on good faith and left them in my box for a long time. Finally one day when I got frustrated I broke down and tied one on. I got a nice 7 and several bumps in the same area that I had thrown a REAL looking immitation!!!

Since so many guys are chucking swim baits these days I can't see why having a bait with a different contrast won't hurt. Let me know what the skinny is?
