2611, Cool bass release pic (really big) Posted by swimbait, Thu Mar-13-03 11:51 PM
I had been meaning to turn this into an animated gif but never got around to it. It's kind of a cool shot of that 12-11 from Pablo a month ago. Nico did the excellent camera work. A side note about this fish was that it cost me a $120 annual pass to San Pablo for not bringing it to the marina. I didn't really understand the contest until after I caught it, but it was the biggest fish on opening day. I guess when I look at the pic and think about how good it felt to let the fish go back to her spot, losing the parking pass doesn't feel so bad :)

Nico, what camera do you have? Does it have rapid fire setting or what?

I'm sure Nico's camera just has the "short video" capabilty, and this is just a frame by frame. This feature is getting to be not such a big deal. I think some mid-price range ($200 to $300) cameras can do this.
Peace, Fish

It's my camera. Coolpix 800, couple years old. It has a 16 shot feature where it puts 16 small pics into one 1200x1600 pic.
