I know the 400TE is a staple when it comes to tossing big 6-12" lures, but has anyone tried out the Daiwa Millionaire Series. Looks like a good reel, just havent heard anybody using them. What do you guys think?

Love the reel for the 6-9 in. baits. Also great for the calicos.

I have a 300TE that is a very nice reel, but I also own two 253's and love them. If line capacity is an issue look at the 300 Millionaire.

I just got one, after fishing a 300te for almost 2 years and its bad ass. i'm going to put some 30lb spectra backing on it and fish 20/25 for everything local and tossing the big wood.

I have bouth and for the price the daiwa is a very reliable reel the only set back I found is the drags not as smooth as the 400
