The rago Generic hard baits are not made of wood, they are made of hard plastic. They have been made of plastic for over a year. The high grade plastic material was invented by Scott Whitmer when Jerry was working with him a year and a half ago. Many people think that they are made of wood, but I am sure that Jerry is marketing them as a plastic bait. These are not to be confused with the "soft" plastic baits made of plasitsol.
I own 26 wood Generic Hard baits and a dozen of the hard plastic baits. I think the hard plastic ones swim better than the wood ones.
