4082, A couple of tweaks for the Mega Bait Charlie Sr.

Even though the Charlie Sr. is prone to snag alot here's a couple of things you can do.

1: Tying the main hook back with 6 or 8lb. test mono. I was using 4lb for a while but repeated casting would cause it to break often.

2: Using Preferably surgical tubing(but not exculding shrink tubing, aquarium hose, even a straw will do in a pinch) remove trailer hook and slide over the split ring and bracket. Re-attach hook and your good to go. The less drag you put on the bait the better, so in other words don't try and use something as thick as a garden hose on this rigging.

The bait should be a little less prone to snagging and the hooks usually swing free when you nail a fish.
