Wade, you inquired about a week ago about halibut in the Santa Cruz area. Check the Thursday, 3/11/04 online edition of santacruzsentinel.com. Scroll down to Sports, then click on Fish Report. You will see that a kayaker caught two legals in the kelp off Capitola. You might want to check that Santa Cruz area Fish Report (fresh and salt) every Thursday (but it seems to be absent during bad weather). I believe that the author has a weekly radio SC area fish report also.

Does anyone want to join me the weekend of the 27th? That should be my next free weekend and hopefully they'll have the moorer's dock open on the Capitola peir by then. It makes a good place to launch my kick, and it's free!
