I won't say where, but last night at right around sundown I got a Big Girl on the 4-Eyes in a color that Joey calls the Bathroom Remodel. It's kind of a drab dark olive back fading to a hideous avocado side and grayish light belly like out of a bad 60's bathroom. It's weighted so the tip of the tail barely breaks the surface at rest and she dives like a rock. The fish hit quite a ways out on a long rocky point and came in with just the bill and screw-eye sticking out of her mouth. She wanted that plug! She was lightly bleeding from one gill when I got the hooks out and after getting her weighed by a guy who was nearby I released her rather than stressing her out for pics which would have meant hiking back to the car for the camera. This makes my #2 best bass.

This bait Wade is talking about I was going for something different in a bait pattern.
When done it just did not look right.
So instead of me tossing it out I asked Wade if he would like to give a go at trying out the bait.
Figuiering its made out of the new material I've been using.
The action is there but the bait is sure ugly as sin...hmmm

This is twice this has happen. twice meaning ~
The lure I was tossing when I got my personal best I would of never of tried to of sell it due to its -
To me ugly paint finish, to much red for the lateral line on a trout pattern bait.

And now to see the bathroom remodel catch a fatty.?.

Gets me thinking of a few things like: action of the bait
Right place right time, depth, having the right tools for the job..

Don't remember if that bait has the old tail on it? Or the new ones?

I gave you the new tail back and took an old one because the lure was a freebie. The color and shape of the old tails actually works better with this sick minnow look.
The new tails are sweet and have a good wag with nice colors. They look like a healthier tail.

I do have one right now that would do the trick.
Its black and red and has a rattle in it.
Made with the new material.
Makes a whole lot of noise.
This one you can still slow roll or have it dive if desired.
Maybe best to toss while night fishing.?.
I don't know just to darn ugly for the day time. ;)

It needs to be tweaked more before I'm really happy with it.
Some things aren't right. Pics with the old tails.
Some of the verbish is misspelled or totally missing in content detail..ect

Young dude is WAY talented for sure.
Just hard to sit him down and go over the site to make things right.

I asked him about having video on the site and he said for sure!
I don't know much about this web technololgy for what i've been told he's put together a good site.
