Definitely can not go wrong with the slammer at night. Especially if there is a little chop on the water. When the water is glass smooth I have gone to using the 3:16 Rising Son and have done well. I am finding that night fishing with the big stuff is either really on or completely dead. Each time out that I have caught fish it has always been more than one. To me, that is really good on the big stuff. During the day I know that if I get bit that was a good day. But at night, if I catch one I know I will get more bites. It's kinda weird. Sorry to confuse anyone if I did.
