A red-eye bass is different than a smallmouth or a spotted bass. They dont get as big, they have a little bit of a different stripe pattern. They are rare too. Their range is scattered throughout the united states. My PB redeye is 2 1/2, which is pretty good for a red-eye. The world record I think is 5 lbs, 10 ounces or something.
