I was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to fish the New 8' St.Croix Mega Swimbait Rods?? I just received a shipment of them and was looking for guys opinions of this Rod..I think that in the past,weight ratings on their rods have been off..I'm not sure that's the case with these new Rods..The 3-8 oz. model is extremely light and seems to have plenty of backbone..Rob,any chance you'll be doing a review??

I'm looking for a new swimbait rod and most of my other rods are St Croix. I love their rods, what's the new rod run price wise?

The Rod i'm talking about is the New St.Croix Mega Swimbait Rod..Model # TBC80XHF..Retail is $270 This Rod is in their Legend Tournament Series.
