Does anyone have an address or contact # for Rago Baits, I have two Hard bait raptors that the tails have snapped off of and would like to get them replaced.

btw don't waste your time buying the 6" raptor soft bait, the tail doesn't kick unless you burn it which is pointless for lmb.

I don't plan on buying anymore of his baits

Im not sure if they still do, but his baits used to have the email address "jerrinater1@aol.com" (or maybe "jerrinator1@aol.com"... something like that) on them, i believe. You could try that.

Im also really surprised about the 6" raptor. I have the 8" and the tail kick is as larger or larger than the hudd at all speeds. Ive never gotten a rago bait that didnt kick hard and run perfectly true right out of the package. You should exchange it wherever you got it as a defective bait...i'd bet you just got a bad bait.

Also, you could send an email to David Conway. He is the one who introduced the raptor here on calfishing.

IT IS FUNNY HOW EVERYBODY WHOM HAS A FINACIAL GAIN ALWAYS RINGS IN WHEN THERE BAIT OR THERE FUTURE EARNINGS ARE CHALLENGED.

WHAT IS EVEN FUNNIER, IS THE FACT THAT THE TWO GUYS WHO RESPONED ABOUT THE BAITS WHO DO HAVE A FINACIAL GAIN BY THE SUCCESS OF JERRY'S BAITS DIDN'T HAVE ANY HELP FOR BIGDADDY AND HIS PROBLEM.

PETE

I WASN'T NECESSARILY SPEAKING ABOUT YOU, MORE DAVE. JUST OUT OF CURIOSITTY THOUGH, DO YOU MAKE THE TAILS FOR JERRY???

ALSO, I AM A BIG FAN OF JERRY'S BAITS, I DO NOT KNOW HIM BUT I JUST THINK IT IS FUNNY THAT NOBODY INCLUDING DAVE DIDN;T TRY TO HELP BIGDADDY OUT. THAT IS A $75 BAIT. A GREAT BAIT, BUT LITTLE MINDS THINK LITTLE, IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE A LITTLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

Ok let's put this one to rest. It sounds like several people are already trying to help Bassdaddy but if there's a mixup or the problem isn't already on it's way to being resolved, Bassdadddy - send me a private message or use the contact form on the site and I'll get you in touch with Jerry so you can get your tails fixed.

I talked to Jerry and he said that some of the early baits had inconsistencies in the tail that caused some of them to break. This is not all Raptor hardbaits, this is just a small percentage of Raptor hardbaits. He's happy to fix those tails for anyone whose tails broke but he has limited computer access and will probably not be able to respond to posts, private messages, or email.

So either go through your tackle retailer (best option) or use me to get in touch with Jerry to get the problem fixed.

So you know Gina, I did email Bigdaddy through calfishing the day he posted. I did not get a email back until 01-18-2006 at 3:12 pm and he has my mailing address and thanked me for getting back to him. I am going to fix the tails myself or take the tails off my baits to fix the problem so like he said, "so I can use them at Diamond".

I'd like to say that David was more than willing to help me with a bait that had a similar problem a while back. Thanks for the great customer service and standing behind the baits 100%.

Just following up on this thread, making sure nothing was taken the wrong way. In no way was I knocking the baits Jerry produces, just trying to find a way to remedy the problem. I did try going through the retailer where it was bought, when I asked about the projected turn around time I was told " I dont know, could be 3 weeks could be over a month" and that was word for word what I was told. So Jerry was the next logical step in the chain. As for help in resolving the matter, I have recieved it and will use that route. If I wasn't tied up with work all the time I would have fabricated the fixes myself. There's nothing wrong with the Raptor it preforms and looks excellent. Other than the simple material failure of the tail on the ones I recieved I am more than happy with it. I hope nothing was taken out of contexted with the post. And thanks to all who offered thier time and info to help.
