8269, Trophy bass habits Posted by Marco Caetano, Wed Aug-23-06 03:22 PM
Hi everyone!
I think all trophy bass anglers should read these articles. These articles talk about trophy bass habitats, and they're not just a guess from an anglers experience: these habits were studied while tracking fish, so this is really correct information!

This is an article about bass myths:

Doug Hannon also says the same about sun hurting the eyes of bass. And I think it's true. Fish don't have eyelids because they don't need to wet their eyes! Look at shad for example: the sun hurts their eyes? I don't think so... Bass are the same.. They just seek shade for resting (to feel protected),to ambush prey and to be in a cooler area (specially in summer)..
And don't forget to go regularly to: http://www.bassfan.com/bigbass.asp there are new articles added about every month, and these are by far the best articles about trophy bass fishing I've ever read, IMO. We really learn A LOT about the mindset required for fishing for trophy bass, and much more! Read ALL the arcticles (don't forget the articles from previous years! I recommend you to start from the first ones!)!
Enjoy all these articles! ;)
Good Fishin'
