Ok its time to brake down and get one of these baits but I`m not sure which color to get.At $90.00 each I`ll only be able to get one of these at this time so I want to get the most versatile color out there for the bodies of water I fish.I mostly fish clear lake, but I also fish blue lakes, the delta, berryessa and spring lake.Any help from you swimbait experts would be appreciated, thx Bill

I seem to do pretty well on the bass and trout pattern. My friend fishes up your way and he likes the Black/Blue color and the Chartreuse Shad.

You really can't go wrong. For the places you're fishing the Baby Bass, trout, Kokanee, etc... are awesome! I think I'll probably get the chartreuse shad when I get another.

Hahaha! Thats at a small reservoir that I fish at. The fish eat the crap out of the wake bait there!

That is a video of the baby wake. I have been using the baby wake and it is another awesome bait by Mickey. It is the only bait that got me any fish of size this summer so far. They have just two colors for the first batch (shad & baby bass) but those are sold. Not sure if he will be making more colors on the 2nd batch.
Best of luck!

Don.

Yes unfortunately. We have a couple here where I live that are managed by the water district. They have 20 members or less. This particular place has a pretty good swimbait bite. I can't say where it is due to poachers. They had a problem with someone posting about it on another website. Shortly after they were swarmed with poachers.

Tresspassing tickets are $1200 due to high fire hazard right now.
