9967, Triple Trout--which one?
Posted by fongster, Tue Nov-27-07 11:42 PM
I want to finally get one but have heard there's several sizes and a couple diff weights? I'm currently fishing a Hudd ROF5 and a MS Slammer--mostly from shore in fairly shallow water--like 2-6 foot ponds. Thanks.

The only one I own right now is a 7" floater. It is balanced perfect and sits upright just barely breaking the surface of the water. It's fairly easy to crank it right under the surface and keep it there.Throws a nice wake and really looks killer just creeped along on top.

With the shallow water you will be fishing I would definetly go with a floater.

The only size that I'm not a big fan of is the 8". For whatever reason its just an in between size in my mind. The 7" and 10" are both killers and isnce you've already got the top covered with the slammer I'd probably get a slow sink 10". That particular bait is fairly available and it definetely gets bit.

What size does a TT actually measure out at?
I measure mine and it comes out at 7 1/2 inches.
Is mine a 7" or 8"?
Thanks
