Billy "The Kid" Sweatt and I hit the water around 7:15 am Sunday and fished till Noon. The fishing was pretty slow and the water temperature was a cold 49-50 degrees. We each landed 2 fish apiece while we were out there. Bill with a 5.0 & 2.6 day and I actually landed my biggest bass yet a nice 7.1 lbs. and a 4.3 the 7.1 was on a (Don't Laugh) Frenzy crank bait early in the morning and bill's 5.0 was on a pig and jig flippin' the tulles around noon in the hot sun. the 2 smaller fish came on a sinko and crank bait.
