Here in the Delta, I thought of a reaper as a reaction/locater type of bait.
Meaning you put the bait in their face, they will eat it.
Really not to much action other than "Here I am in your face"
Maybe it mimics a darting away crawdad? or a scared nose diving bluegill?
Reapers work great for me when flipping or pitching into heavy cover.
The profile of the bait allows it to get into the smallest of pockets.
