Hey Jared,

Lots of great stuff at State and if you haven't fished it much, might be the way to go. Primarily there is weeds, tulles and a little wood right at State. If you go south towards Soda Bay, you have lots of rocks and some deeper water (you will have to do a little rowing). If you happen to go North, you'll end up in County Park where there is some rock piles (the county park launch ramp is made of it on the sides), tullie islands and points.

There are also sandy areas, creek channels and hidden "lakes" within the tulles if you can find them.

Your red rattletraps are often the ticket and you can cover a ton of water with them. Dropshot like mad. Don't ever forget your blades on Clear Lake! Jigs, cranks, worms, senkos, you name it they'll catch fish.

Hope this helps a little. If you have a chance go and ask Scott Green. He's one of the reasons I'm halfway decent at this lake! :+
