If it were me, I would head to the right if you're looking at the lake. If you far enough you'll hit Soda Bay and there is some deeper water over there along with some nice rock shorelines. Actually, there is just a whole bunch of good stuff over there and I do believe there will be a better opportunity to catch some bigger fish (although there will undoubtedly be some good fish caught right there at State).

When I was talking about baitfish I was thinking about the little bigger shad. I think those that you were scaring were silversides (pretty small and thin, right?) and you really need to fish under those. Can't say I haven't caught any good ones doing that (with a blade - remember what I was telling you earlier this year) but those quality fish were right at first light. Hint, hint. :D

Got off the phone with Scott Green and he and Gary Dobyns stuck down South on Monday and had some fun just tearing up the fish. Nothing huge but just fun from what he was telling me.
