Hey steve,sounds like you had a couple fun afternoons.:-) Have you tried spooning for the stripers?I have been on a pretty consistant bite in the so delta (except for last saturday) throwing rattle traps but getting most of my fish with the silver buddy.:o On thanksgiving day I had About 20 linesiders from 5 to 10 lbs on the buddy.I would find a break with current and either worm it back to the boat or vertialy jig it in water from 8 to 14' deep.I even had a couple good fish in victoria.
