Jay,
I finally found you! I have seen your kick boat on Sonoma county and Bass-in-tubes and I have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind answering them.
1. I spoke with Mike A, and he told me you made your frame and bought your tubes from OE. Did you use steel or aluminum for the frame?

2. Do you have pictures of your custom rod rack? That thing is awesome and I would love to know more about it as I am designing my first one. What types of materials did you use on it? It looks like it swivels...

3. Are you a full time welder or do you do it for fun? What type of welding to you do? I can stick, MIG, and gas weld, as I used to teach it, but I have a few questions about TIG welding. Do you know anything about TIG welding? I have a MIG wleder and a spool attachment for aluminum, but I was never sure if it would work with my shielding gas. Maybe it is flux core wire. If you can help me figure it out, that would be great.

4. Are there any other custom mods you did for your kickboat that you would not mind sharing?

5. Do you have a livewell? I am interested in putting a livewell/storage bun. Walmart has a bunch of stuff for one.

6. Do you know if one can strip powder coat from aluminum?

You replied to one of my forum questions before. Thanks Jay for your time. -Bassniper
