Yeah went to the Santa Barbara harbor and went tubing. The current felt like the delta. It was lousy fishing.
Just found out I got the rest of the week off though. Time to hook up!

Damn -- skunked again (beautiful day, though -- no wind at ALL)! Guys around me were catching one here, two there, on either live bait (nightcrawlers, apparently) or small 4" green weenie-type rubber worms. Pretty slow day, water's WAY down.

Might get out again this week, if we don't head up to Tahoe. The woman is feeling a little under the weather; doesn't really want to head up the mountain if she's not feeling well. That, of course, translates into POSSIBLE fishing for ME! :-)

I'm tempted to join the NCBF'ers for their NutCase Classic @ McClure, but I'd probably be more inclined to hit Shadow Cliffs for the day, tossing that big ol' SLAMMER!!! (My cart broke, so I'd probably keep to the main lake, which is where the planted trout are, anyway).

Might make it out, might not. Any of you can feel free to call if you'd like some company, though (408-224-9113). **Possibly** any day, Thurs-Mon. Guess I need a new **LICENSE** if I go after the 31st! Hmmm... gotta get going on that one!

i want fish'n on tuesday too. got skunked at a palo alto park lake. there was a slight cold front the moved in and then tuesday was a blue bird day so that equals out to tough fishing.
