I am going to be out of town. As in gone, adios, au revoir, asta la vista baby... (OK, my spelling sucks)

I would REALLY have liked to make this but Laura is attending a veterinarian conference starting on the 18th. Rebecca and I are joining her for a vacation (conference is next to Disney World); we fly on the 17th. I will email John with anything I wanted to bring up (no BS on running, I promise). I'm sure you guys will fill me in on anything new.

There is a bass fishing "tourney" sponsored by the AVMA which I am trying to get in. Two fishermen and a guide per boat. And we get to use live bait if we want.
12010, Thanks for the address

Chris is right that is one reason. Our guys are really spread out. Another reason is in the past we had them on thursdays and participation was low since most had to work the day after. We would like to see you there on the 17th but understand not all will make it. Just be sure to email us all your info so we can put you on the roster. We might need the dues paid before hand to pay B.A.S.S but not sure yet. I will get back to you on that.

Still waitin' on my membership card. I'll let ya know.
Isn't there a a BASS Federation Membership or sumpthin' we hafta pay too? Or is that just for proud owners of glitter rockets in the other clubs who can compete beyond the club level?

Hope this answers you questions Chris.

Yearly dues have not changed and are still $20 this year we are going to become an B.A.S.S Affiliated club. All members will need to be members of B.A.S.S ($12)....all members will also have to pay the B.A.S.S Federation and that is $20 a year. So if you are not a member of any of these then you will need to pay a total of $52

That would be fun but it would also get it lasting into the weee hours of the morning to. Swampy and I will be supplying some munchies, if you wish to bring something go for it. These things take to long as it is. I think last year it took 1.5hrs the year before was over 2hrs. My goal is 1hr so we have time to hang out. Thanks for the input.

what is being B.A.S.S afilliated gonna do for us? ~Angler Andy
12050, it helps by giving clubs...
Posted by Samurai TI, Wed Dec-04-02 05:02 PM
INSURANCE! Along with making each of the clubs more legit. Also will give us tubers/kickboaters more of a name out there and hopefully some respect. How many times have you been cut off but a rude boater...

Tood hit the main reason Insurance. We and I as President and founder have to have it before something happens and I am liable. Not to much to ask. You will also be able to fish the california B.A.S.S Affliation tournaments and have a shot at the Bassmasters Classic if you do fish them. My favorite thing about it on a personal level is that you get B.A.S.S Times in my opinion better then the magazine, cause it comes out quicker after tournaments and in a lot more detail as to who did what in the tournaments. I know there is more but I cant recall. Paul our V.P should be able to add more tomarrow. Bottom line its a lot for only 20 bucks.

Ok, so I paid BASS $12 for my membership. I will pay you $20 for my BnT dues at the meeting. Do I need to pay $20 to BASS for the Federation fee or you or who?
