I bought a Cabelas rechargeable 12 volt 7 amp battery and it came without any instructions. If anyone has one of these and knows the charging info I'd appreciate it. Also do these batteries have a memory. Thanks

I've had one for a while and I think it's great.I'm not sure what you mean be memory,but to charge....The 1st time charge for 8 hours and after that charge it as soon as you can.Charging time, if I use it for say 4 hrs I'll charge for about 2-4hrs.They say to never charge it more than 8hrs and try not to run it all the way down.

I don't think these batteries have a problem with memory any more than a motorcycle battery. At least not like memory problems you might have with say a cell phone, laptop computer, camcorder, etc. They can be damaged byu over charging and if you do not have a charger yet you might consider one that turns off when the battery reaches full charge. I fried a motorcycle battery by leaving it on the charger all night long...
