Chris decided to camp. No big deal either way but I wouldn't mind keeping costs down as money is considerably tighter than it was a year ago...

Hey Gordon,

I need to give Lazyfish first crack at this. I don't think he wants to do a three way split on the room. If he is not interested then I think the room was about $165 for two nights (exact amount is on a previous post). I'd be more than happy to split the room with you if Steve is not interested.

Yo, Buzz.... Yes, I will split with you. I won't have time to get trailer ready as I thought. I don't mind a third guy. I was only trying to save by camping. Trailer will be ready next trip.

Do they allow 3 per room? If you guys wanted to split the room 3-ways I would be interested (I could sleep on the floor). I would be a boring roommate -- don't drink, don't smoke, probably go to bed early. I'm just not too excited about bringing the RV with gas being >$2/gallon. Let me know...

Thanks,

Sorry about the delayed reply. I was trying to get in touch with Chris. Steele Park will allow three in a room; someone sleeps on a cot. I will call this morning after they open to determine if there are additional costs to three in a room.

Personally I do not care. I think one of the reasons Chris decided to camp was due to the fact that the room would not be split three ways. I have not been able to get in touch with him so I guess we can proceed. The plan will be for Steve, Gordon, and I to split a room. As previously stated I expect to be up there around 3pm on Friday. If either Steve or Gordon expects to be there earlier please post to let me know. I'll need you last name to tell the Steele Park folks that it is OK to let you in the room before I check in.

I don't want to put Chris out -- I'll give him first crack at the room with you guys. I don't mind camping, I calculated the difference between camping -vs- room and RV gas -vs- Jeep gas and it was really pretty close, so I guess I'll just camp. Sorry for all the confusion...

On the other hand, if Chris wanted to stay in the RV with me he's welcome to do that...

I don't think you are putting Chris out. I sent him an email yesterday morning. No response to email, no response to posts here.

Three is cheaper than two. Which three is no problem. I think there will be more people with just two in a room so we can add a third to those also. Most of the quys are accomodating. I will leave Tracy at noon so will get there about 3 or so.

I don't know for sure if i'll be fishing the tourney due to expenses.

Sure would like too join the crew in the red hot bite over @ Berryessa.

The Smallies and big Dawgs should be full swing in action.

Good luck too all who attend this tournament.

I will know more by the week of the tourney...

Sure would like to find a ride to cut cost to a minimun. Sorry for posting late.

If the weather permits I wouldn't mind camping or sharring a room with others. ( I'll bring my ear plugs!)

Although I for sure plan on making the Smith Cannal Tourney.
The first of the BNT Delta Region Tourneys' on March 28th.

Fingers Crossed
with work and all...

Any one coming up threw San Jose thaT COULD
use help on costs and plan on leaving in time to be ready to hook up ~
& come home in a money truck - LET ME KNOW? :)

I might be able to give you a ride. Where would I pick you up and what time could you be ready to go on Friday? Would you be able to kick a few $$$ for gas? Also, looks like my room is full, sorry.

No reply from Chris. I never did call Steele Park yesterday but will do so on Sunday. Looks like Clint, Steve, and Gordon. We can toss a coin for the cot.

It's OK, Clint. I'm definitely camping. I was gonna pre-fish today with Deacon but we never got further than Petaluma. My car overheated. I filled the radiator with coolant & water and drove home. It looks like the thermostat is shot. I'm putting in a new one this afternoon. Wish me luck.

Joey, you gotta find a ride. ;) I can't wait to get my hands on those baits you made me. See ya there, I hope.

Chris

Edit: Fixed the car. I'm goin' to 'Grove. }(

Actually, I decided to camp also. So you guys don't have to fight over the cot :+

I'm going to head up Friday AM and check it out a little bit. I'll see you bright (dark) and early Saturday. Thanks for the offer!

OK. Two people in my room again, Steve and I. Per Steele Park the cot costs $10/night and is no problem.
