After seeing the video, looks like it might be worth the drive this spring. Thought you might have seen it :-)

Yep, I used to live in Fresno. Fished it from '76 to '84.

So, what can you tell us? Launch & recovery spots? How much tidal influence, if any? Etc? Tight lines, Wade

That was 20/25 years ago. At age 56 I'm lucky I remembered that I used to live in Fresno and ever fished it at all.
The main fishery known back then was the upper Kings for great trout fishing. But we'd do an occassional Sunday 'float' down the lower river in tubes full of people and beer. On one of those floats I took a rod along and had a killer day slaying smallies and largemouth.
After that I probably floated 2-3 times a year (summer months) until I moved to SoCal in '84. Seems like we drifted from somewhere between Centerville and Reedley, but can't remember road names at all. They were about 6-10 hour trips.
If you can get details on launch and take-out points, count me in.
Ok, I have to go lay down and rest now. All this remembering has worn me out. Lzydeus Pisceus
