We are going to be on the big show! Yes, it's only 90 seconds of fame and we're on at a gawd awful hour but we are already scheduled for time on ESPN! Set your VCRs/TiVo/whatever but make sure to get the word out so we get some attention (we deserve!!!).

Also, there will be upcoming articles in BASSMASTER & BASS Times.

Something I think we might want to do is to write/e-mail ESPN to let them know we appreciate their coverage and let them know they're onto a bigger thing than we may seem. Help us expand even more!

Anyway, just wanted to put the details up here now and will try to move this post back up when we get closer to SHOW TIME!

My T.V. also said it was on at 7:30. The episode I saw was the Elite 50 from Prattvile Alabama and showed nothing about the club. Did I watch it at the wrong time or was it not on? :(

Good morning all from CatchemCaro. Im using my wifes Computer this morning. The SCBBBC was on national TV this morning at 5:30 am sharp on ESPN 2. WOW, it was very strange to see the club on TV. Talk about unreal. I can already see ESPN producing a full half hour show on one of our float tube tourneys. I bet that this is just a start of some thing big for the sport of competitive bass fishing from tubes. This national exposure for our clubs is all due to Todd's professional leg work. This might not have happened if it wasn't for Todd. Thanks Todd for pushing the envelope. If I was watching that 2 minite show and I loved bass fishing but had no boat it would have caught my attention BIG TIME.

I have always felt that we had an untapped form of bass fishing here. Lets keep the sport going and lets all keep enjoying what we're doing, fishing and having fun. Thanks again Todd.

It looks like we had a major communication fall out. :+

I think everyone, including myself, naturally associated the plug with BASSMSASTER. I had the TIVO record the fishing that was scheduled for Saturday @ 5:30 and Sunday @ 7:30. But not Sunday @ 5:30 like Todd said, because there was no fishing scheduled at that time. Oh well :(

I got it on TiVo at 5:26 on ESPN2. I saved it so I can put it on video tape for anyone that wants a copy.

Yup. It was all hunting at that hour.

Maybe someone with the right 'puter skills can digitize it and post it?
(Maybe not though, copyright issues and stuff???)

Im still unclear on this. My listing showed no bassmaster at 5:30. What show was it on? I like many others watched the bassmasters at 7:30.

You know guys, the funny thing is I missed it too x(

I fished with Eric K in his new boat on Saturday at a Redwood Club tourney at Sonoma (where we got our butt kicked but had a blast in his boat!!!) so was up by 2am and didn't get to sleep till past 11pm. No waky up for me!

Great to hear some of the guys got to see it! I should be getting a copy of it in late January and will ask about copyright issues for putting it on the site.

Let's here some details and thanks for the info Mike!

24942, HOW DO YOU BASS FISH WITHOUT A BOAT?
Posted by FISH JC, Mon Dec-13-04 11:39 AM
It was on at 5:25AM Sunday
I thought it displayed a great amount of information in 90 seconds.
Rich, Todd, and the lady from the charity organization all were great.
Rich had it going on with him talking about the club.
Todd kind of narrated the whole thing. Totally cool.
Can’t remember who caught the fish while they were filming but that was nice!
Jay’s boat got a great shot of his company’s name and him on his boat.
The shot where you guys held the SCBBBC banner up was great. Rich and his "yea baby" LOL :)
My yelling out “TUBERS ROCK!” at the end of the segment was totally cheese.:P

I can see this going into a fifteen minute film shoot on float tubing.
Good job Todd for putting this together.

I thought it might have been him.
Look to be a nice 4-5#er.
Showed on how we use our live-wells to keep the fish alive.
His boat is tricked out. Well done
Love the revolving rod rack he's got.
His ability to stand up on his boat is WAY COOL!
