Ok here is the plan. BNT Travelers Region's 1st event scheduled for Feb. 5th and 6th will fish Naci on day 1 and San Antonio (Harris Creak) on day 2. BNT's entry fee will be the same as any 2 day event. $20.00 to enter + a $5.00 big fish option per day. NKFT will be at Naci for 1 day Feb. 5th. All BNT members can join the NKFT event if they want. NKFT entry fee will be $30.00 + an optional $10.00 big fish option. Saturdays weigh ins will be done by BJ of NKFT and Paul of BNT. There will only be 1 scale and we will be using the BNT scale since it converts 100th to oz's on the spot. If you only fish the BNT event you still must weigh in on day 1 at Naci since your fishing for 2 days combined weight. NKFT members that would like to fish with BNT can also pay the regular entry fee and fish with BNT as well. Check ins will be done by Paul and BJ separately, so if you plan to fish both events please pay the appointed official from each of the clubs.

I would suggest the BNT guys stay at Naci for the 2 nights and pack up Sunday morning then head over to the Harris Creek Launch area for day 2.

If anyone from NKFT reads this please print it out and give it to BJ when you see him.

Look how full the Naci is...go to the Naci News section.

http://www.nacimientoresort.com/webcam.htm

It's risen 45' in the last four weeks or so. Only 21' to full pool.

I imagine San Antonio is the same.

Hi everybody. I am interested in fishing both the bass-n-tubes tourney and the nkft tourney. I am not a member of either club yet and was wondering what it will take to join both. I fished one bass-n-tubes tourney a few years ago but I know that some things have changed. I also understood that you can fish out of a kayak in bass-n-tubes and was wondering if that would also work for nkft at naci.

You can drive and fish back but you leave the blast off area at the same time as everyone else.

If you're talking about Naci Rich, there's really nowhere to drive to and launch. The only thing I can think of is driving to one of the camping area parking lots and launching there. But there's really not much of an advantage as they're not far from the launch. I believe the only "public" access is the campground areas and the boat launch area.

As for your questions Lang, I'll speak with the Pres this evening. I'm not quite sure about all the rules as they have changed a little.

The NKFT guys will have to answer about there stuff but I can tell you about BNT.

To be a member you must pay the following dues. $20.00 BNT, $20.00 BASS Federation and if your currently not a B.A.S.S member you will also have to pay the $12.00 annual membership.

Just remember you need some way to keep your catch alive (livewell or fish basket)...
