FKPWarehouse.com is being incredibly generous in sponsoring our event this year with some great prizes. These prizes include the 1st place prize of a Buck's Bag "High Adventure" 7' kickboat, which carries a retail tag of over $300! A Trout Unlimited "Gunnison" float tube will also be awarded as well as a pair of Turbo Thruster Fins (which some lucky person will win in a free raffle)! Pre entry is only $40, or $50 the morning of the event. $10 of that goes to a three way big fish pot. Plaques will be awarded for 1st-5th total weight and 1st-3rd big fish. Event is April 23rd at the Castaic Lower Lagoon and entry forms, rules, etc. can be found on the calendar section of www.castaiclake.com, just go down to April 23rd and you'll see em.' I see that your rules only speak of "Floattubes", but I do see there is a Kickboat as a prize. So Kickboats are ok for this derby?

Sorry, only float tubes are allowed for competeting in this event. Since the top prize will be a kick boat we may conduct a survey at the event to see if anybody has a problem with allowing them at next year's event. But for this year it's float tubes only-still a kickboat for over $300 is an awesome 1st place prize.
