Anybody up for a t-shoot @ the windsor ponds(or maybe Sonoma)? I've got plans for this saturday & sunday with fathers day and all but maybe next weekend?

How about Saturday, June 25th? Launch as soon as the gates open and weigh-in around 3pm.
$10 to enter & $5 for big fish

Who's up for it?
Dan? Carson? Bill? Phil? John? Rich? C'mon guys, let's rumble! }(

The 25th is possible, will see.But I haven`t fun fished all year yet and its really affecting my tourney days so sunday(fathers day)I`ll be at the pits(trying to get some confidence back before I switch to playing checkers ) if anybody wants to join me.Bill :-(

Not this weekend, banana clip. Next weekend... saturday.

Bill,
Ya know what's really bizarre? My tourney fishing seems to be pretty good right now but my fun fishin' is a mess. Just since the Open I've broke or lost 3 rods and 2 reels. If you go back a year, roughly, I've broke or lost 6 various rods including 3 flippin' sticks. x( (I gotta take it easy on my hooksets)
So now I've got this deluxe 10-rod rod rack on my kickboat with only 3 baitcasting and 3 spinning outfits left to put in it. :(

28949, Hey, Chris - any photos of your 10-rod rack?
Posted by jsmith, Wed Jun-22-05 05:17 PM
I like what you did before with your rod-rack, which I remember from lo-o-o-ng ago up @ Berryessa. What sort of config did you come up with for your 10'er?

p.s. Sorry to hear about all those lost rods & reels -- y'never really can let those go, I know (I'm still thinkin' some day I'm gonna dredge up my old All-Star/Calcutta rig from the bottom of Calero!) :+

I am interested in Yorte Creek on Saturday June 25th. But, double zero last Sunday. ;( Will pencile it into my schedule. Love Yorte, hate zeros.

Had a friend, in tube, first time, I called Mr. Stealth all day. When he moved into an area the glass of the water looked like a godzilla fish was going to surface, swirling, bubbles and my Buddy right in the middle. Kept dogging him about not moving in still, stealthy style but not him, thus a fellow Mr. Zero. But once he got where he wanted to be and fish he was still x(

Gotta go to work! See ya

I guess I should post more details.
I'm not sure what time the gate at Yorty opens. Anybody know?

Where: Lake Sonoma, Yorty Creek
Date: Saturday, June 25th.
The idea would be to meet at the gate before it opens to check-in. Blast-off will be when the gate opens, launch when ready.
Weigh-in @ 2PM but we can go later if everyone agrees to it before blast-off.
If someone's late, you must check-in with me before you start fishing.

Basic B-N-T tourney rules will apply.
*Four fish limit
*13 inch minimum
*Oars are always OK with me.

Post on this thread if you intend to come out and join us.

I think I'm gonna go pre-fish Bethel Island on sunday. I've never fished there before so I gotta at least get a look at the place before the Open.
We can car-pool if ya want to go? I'll split the gas with ya.

Chris

PS-Gotta interview for a job now. Trying to get in with a company that makes molds and casts various products. Wish me luck.

Yorte Creek gate opens at 7:00 AM. Usually takes 15 min. min to unload and launch along with parking of your vehicle.

Let me know what the final decision is. 1:00 is fine with me if that is what it takes to have the ESPN Star there ;)

Pits, well, if you all decide that then I will follow, but I don't like the zeros that place has brought me.

John (waiting for the final post of what and where we are doing what)

Sorry 'bout the "musical lakes" bit. I just wanted to be flexible, keep it simple, and get as many guys out as possible. It just turned into a bit of a furball. Stuff happens.

Try flippin' beavers or senkos. I like the doublewide beavs. Keep another rod with a frog tied on. Fan cast some crankbaits here and there. You'll get 'em.

We've got nine if everybody shows. Just right for a shootout at the ponds. }(

I just finished rebuilding an old flippin stick so it's gonna get it's first workout tomorrow. Now if I can just finish a couple cranks I'm workin' on...
