We are in the process of getting the campground locked down for the Delta Open at Beacon Harbor July 9th and 10th. If you plan to camp let us know so we can get an idea of how many sites to reserve.

This is Wade on Joey's computer.
I'll definitely need a site for Saturday night and maybe Friday too. Hopefully I'll be sporting a New-to-me ride by then.

Tight lines,

Hey John,
What's the entry fee. I'm not sure if I can fish both days, but I assume the entry fee will be the same. If I do fish it, it will be my first event. Please let me, thanks

Just so everybody is aware. Beacon Harbor charges $12.00/night per tent. They do not charge per site. If you plan on sleeping in your vehicle then the charge is $12.00/night. The only way to share camping fees is to share a tent.
Here's a link to the Beacon Harbor website.

Hmmmmm....twelve bucks a night is mighty steep but Swampy still has to stay in his own tent. As far from mine as possible! :P

YO Rich there is plenty of fishable water.
I'm willing to bet after ten minutes of the blast off you won't see too many people.
Although there is plenty of fish to be had at the docks }( anyways...

Dude kind of a mess up -- For the last coupla years we've done this Delta Open, we have a SCBBBC tourney the week prior.
This ends up being a loss of participation from the SCBBBC guys due to prefishing. Next year can't we seperate these by another week?
Make me or break me I don't care the Delta Open is the place to be and where I plan to fish.

Don't get me wrong I would like to prefish but having fun with a bunch of good righteous tubers is even better.
If I took this fishing thing all so serious I would have to prefish all the tournaments. ;)
It's all about fun and i'm going out to have some. :P

Fun is what it's all about anyways :)

Fingers crossed on all to participate in this awesome BNT's Delta Open
I'll be there! :)

If I might have missed the post, but how will this touney go down. Two weigh-ins at different locations or all blasting off from one spot?

Thanks
Rich

We will all be launching from the same spot, there is a ton of different areas to fish being right at the opening of franks tract.
28836, Room for an RV?
Posted by jsmith, Thu Jun-16-05 03:18 PM
I'm planning on staying in my 30-foot RV. If there's not enough space in the grassy area, I'd be fine staying in the parking lot across the street, below the levee, if they'd be OK with that. I can't imagine they'd have a problem, since there appeared to be plenty of room, as far as I could tell from previous visits.

Can you check that out & let me know, John?
