Dan, Bill, Darren and I we went to Lake Sonoma Saturday morning and waited for the ranger to open the gate....and waited....and waited. Well he never showed so Dan and i decided to head up to Blue Lakes While Bill and Darren headed back home. The weather was nasty with rain but not much wind thank god so we launched around 8:30am. I personally had my best day bass fishing with my best 5 going 23lbs. 7lb,5lb 2-4lbs 3lb and a couple nice 2lbs anyway i had a blast and i wont even tell you how big the one i lost at the boat was. :P

Nice day Mike. We discussed going to Blue Lakes but went to the Marina instead. DId you fish the muddy lake or the clear lake.

Darn, four of us met at about 6:40 AM at the road down the hill from Yorte Creek, and the sign said CLOSED. So we pondered Blue Lake or the Marina for about 15 min.

I thought you guys might have been at the gate waiting x( Oh well, Dave, Matt and his friend John and me hit the Marina launch and caught fish in the beautiful rainy day on the water! :D

Yorte Creek is still closed today. I have spoken with the Rangers offices (they returned my calls from last week) and said that Thursday they closed it again. They are working hard to open it in time for our Tournament this weekend.

We will probably know more at the Meeting Wednesday night (Yep, it's Pizza Night at Round Table - my monthly Pizza Fix).

I have had one of my best days on Muddy Lake too! Darn it, should have chosen that but at least we did not go home ;-) (Just kidding guys)!
