35160, Stripers are Fun!

Mike and I fished the Delta for a couple hours on Saturaday. Nothing special to report we caught alot of 1-2lb largemouth on reaction baits. I did get a nice striper on a speed trap it's my first striper in a couple years. The fight was awesome I throw my speed traps on light gear 6'6" medium rod and 10lb line. It measured 24 1/2" and 6lbs even.

Hey Lake, Mike and I usually don't where waders from the middle of March to November. I don't know why it's just what we do. At least I remember to wear suntan lotion, Mike's legs have atleast 5 different stripes of color on them.

This area of the Delta has been awesome to me, I have never left disappointed. Many times I've caught limits of 13-15lb within 30 minutes and being able to upgrade close to 20lbs throughout the day. Hope to see you guys on the water.

two weeks ago my girl and I were fishing off the docks with anchovies
When my girl yells out she's got a big one.

she landed a 6.8# large mouth

I ended up pulling out a 6inch small striper from the mouth/throat of her fish. :9

Great place to kick back and catch a whole lot of fish :)

Also to mention The harbor masters
Ed and Larry are really cool guys too!! ;-)

IFISH say's,

So, do you think the striper ate the anchovie, and then the Largemouth ate him ?

Hey Joe, I was wondering how I got that picture on my phone. I lost my cell phone up in a lake up by Shasta about a month ago, so I lost all my phone numbers with the new phone. I was going crazy wondering who sent me the picture thanks Joe.
