I dont know this guy so for the record I'll call him Jack A. So I'm crusin down 680 cruise control at 70mph. I see Jack A pulling a boat with the bed of his brand new F150 completely packed with bbq, about 5-6 coolers and probally 10-15 cases of beer on top of it all. He gets on the freeway and I'm just watching cause his truck is sagging hella bad. Eventually, I continue on my way and Jack A flies past me in the #4 lane. I say to myself holy s&^% that must be Jack A, then decide I need pics for my friends at calfishing. I try to catch up but he is doing 85-90 easy. 85-90 in the #4 lane pulling a boat, are you kidding. Some people are just plain ignorant. I have a pic of Jack A below and my speedO. I let off the gas to take the pics, so you will only see 79mph on my truck, but I got up to 83 and he was still pulling away.

Yes, this is the season. These are also the people who tend to cause the compaints, problems and accidents on the water (drunk, doesn't know how to drive a boat, which side to go when someone is coming up, etc).

Maybe we should have a hunting season for them??? :+

That's the number one lane. I have seen the same thing. As soon as the weather gets nice these guys take their boats out and have no clue to what the f --- they are doing.

CHP should be on this guy and anyone else towing a trailer in the number one lane.


I wish there was a way of following him on his adventure for the weekend. Hate to see how he handles his boat on the water but it would make a good video. You better watch out for this guy if he is heading for Delta.

Hope you don't run into him at the tourney on Sunday with the rest of the A-- holes who dont't give a damn about anyone else on the water. }(

Wow. Been seeing a few of those on the road myself including one on Fathers Day. The guy wasn't doing 83 but was moving right along at 75. His boat/trailer were all over the place; he couldn't keep it in his lane.

I know they do catch these guys but it would have been sweet to see a CHP tag the guy I saw on Sunday.
