If you could only use one bait at Clearlake what would it be?
What pound test would you use / why?

SENKO SENKO SENKO. You can do anything with these baits, and catch bass of all moods and activeness. It's a good flip bait, you can fish it as a jerkbait for the reaction fish, frog mats, dead stick, carolina rig... I don't know of many other lures that are so versatile. As for lb. test, I'd normally use 10, but for clear lake, I'd have to go at least 15 or 20. As you could probably tell, the senko is one of my confidence baits, so I'd no doubt go with that. How bout you Joey?

I've never thrown a Senko @ Clearlake. But tomorrow about this time I'll be thoe... I spose Pline 15 pound test should do it.
I'm with you I think SENKO has my vote.

........but beleive it or not if I was ever stuck with only 1 bait on any lake at any time of year, either way it would be what most Pro's the most versatile bait there is.It could be fished from 1-60' slow fast even flipped.Yah you guessed it a 3/8 oz willow/colorado dual blade spinner bait on 20lb XL.
