Just wondering who is going to be attending the Margarita tourney and where will you be staying? We have a two choices camping or a hotel? Which would be better? What is the weather usually like down there this time of the year?

I'm going down on Tuesday or Wednesday and coming back Sunday. And I'm roughing it in my tent.

John and I are going and we're camping. Coming down friday, leaving after the tourney. I put the hotel info there since I know some guys like to do that, but I would expect most people will be camping. As for the weather, who knows!

They don't allow night fishing. I know guys who have gone anyway, but they never did much. Fishing weeds at night is kind of tough anyway.

I'm planning on going even though I'm not a member of your club, if that's all right. I fish mainly from a float tube and fish Margarita and Lopez a lot. I'll be driving up from Santa Maria and will meet you Saturday morning. How long do the tournaments usually last? I've never fished a tourney in my life and have only been fishing for a couple of years so go easy on me.

Tourneys last from safe light to around 3PM. Glad you are going to join us, make sure you look at the rules and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

*If* I am able to make it, I probably wouldn't get there 'til late Friday night, or at the worst, first thing in the morning. These folks have a locked gate, right? What are our arrival-hour restrictions? (Or will you have a key, Rob?).
At this point, I'm still questionable. I sent my 'repaired' pontoon back to the mfr, since they kind of botched my repair job. Hopefully, it'll be back in time for the tourney -- glad I was at least able to use it as-is up at Clear Lake!

Maybe you can take a laptop with you, out on the water fishing, so you can look for a job on the web -- in-between CASTS, that is!
Don't worry, bud, something'll come along in due time -- jobs ALWAYS do!
Y'just might have to *repair* more of those Senko's in the meantime, since you might not be able to afford to replace 'em all right away!
